IN THE BEGINNING WAS THE WINE…
On March 13, 2005 in the lush fields of Vrachova Niva, human courage and indomitable spirit set the stage for something unknown even to its creator.
The first sod was laid on a small wine cellar for boutique wines, a restaurant and several adjoining premises for early morning drink lovers.
Back in the fall of 2005. the winery produced its first wines and won its first awards.

…AND THE WINE WAS THE TRUTH
On June 21, 2007 the wine cellar became a complex.
22 rooms, a small SPA center, a restaurant and a wine shop allowed "Starosel" to welcome and capture the hearts of its first guests.

AND THE TRUTH LEADS TO PROGRESS…
A few years after the establishment of the complex, the market of native tourist services recognized the authentic quality of "Starosel" and from a God-forsaken village, Starosel turned into a destination!
The scale of the complex corresponded to this process until the end of 2015. now guests can choose between 90 rooms, several pools, two restaurants and a variety of leisure options.

AND PROGRESS ALWAYS LOOKS TO THE FUTURE!
In October 2018, a Thracian residence appeared in the crown of "Starosel".
With its 136 luxurious rooms, a variety of restaurants, a rich conference center and a large-scale SPA center of its kind, offering unique wines and SPA treatments, Thracian Residence has become the center of events in "Starosel".
The difficult years of a global pandemic have not been able to stop progress and it continues with numerous small and large improvements and additions to the Starosel portfolio.
In 2024 the new Deluxe wing of the Starosel Hotel opened its doors, we expanded the SPA center with another outdoor pool, and the youngest guests can enjoy a world-class outdoor playground. And all this in more than 100 decares of greenery and gardens.
